Accepted payment methods include card or cash upon completion of the service unless otherwise instructed by Sydney Pest Crew during or prior to booking. If you intend to leave the premise before our arrival, kindly contact and inform our office in advance. This will allow us to reach out to you for payment processing over the phone.

Preparing your home for a general service

All residents or occupants are not to be outside or near technician when applying pesticide. Please remain indoors unless advised otherwise. Please keep footwear on at all times throughout service whether entering or leaving property and for atleast 2 hours post service to avoid stepping on any pesticide while wet.

Please inform prior to service if any newborns/infants/children are present in the home as they will need to leave the premise for a certain amount of time that will be advised by Sydney Pest Crew prior to the service in regards to a re-entry period.

Please inform prior to service if anyone living in the premise is pregnant as they will need to leave the premise for a certain amount of time that will be advised by Sydney Pest Crew prior to the service in regards to a re-entry period.

Please inform prior to service if any pets are present in the home as they may or may not need to leave the premise dependent upon the service carried out. Sydney Pest Crew will advise prior to the service in regards to a re-entry period.

Please remove all clothes off the clothesline if any exterior spray is going to be carried out.

Please inform Sydney Pest Crew if any fish or fish ponds and birds (or any pet for that matter) are present on the premise.

Please clean and mop prior to the pest control service the day before. If any window cleaning is to be carried out or planned externally, please schedule this in after your pest control service is completed, NOT prior to the service as windows externally may be targeted throughout service.

Remove any food from kitchen bench tops.

Cover all animal enclosures like aquariums and cages with sheets or towels.

Please move furniture slightly away from walls to give the technician access to all corners and areas of the house or business.

Please ensure there is clear and non-lockable access to all areas of the home including roof and subfloor.

If there are any areas (including gardens, plants, or other sensitive locations) that you do not wish to be treated, you must notify Sydney Pest Crew prior to the commencement of the service, either by contacting our office or advising the technician upon arrival. Unless advised otherwise, all standard service areas will be treated. Sydney Pest Crew cannot accept responsibility for areas that were intended to be excluded if notification is provided after the service has commenced or been completed.

Any changes to the service request made upon arrival may incur an additional fee. Please note that removing areas or making amendments to the original service request does not automatically result in a reduced charge. If additional services are requested on the day, additional fees may apply. Technicians are not authorised to approve or adjust pricing on site; all pricing or quotation changes must be approved by our office staff. Any requested changes must be communicated at least one business day prior to the scheduled service. If changes are not advised in advance, the original cost will apply, as technicians are allocated a specific time slot that could otherwise have been made available to another booking.

If you are unsure which pests are included in your service, please contact our office prior to the scheduled service for confirmation. Do not assume that treatment for other pests is included unless it has been specifically approved or quoted by our office, as different pest services may attract additional fees. It is highly recommended you explain clearly to office which pests have been witnessed at your property that you wish to service for. Our technicians attend each job with clear instructions issued by the office and will carry out treatment strictly in accordance with the approved service scope.

PLEASE NOTE: All possum control service costs are based on cage hire, camera hire and 2x visits to install and collect after approximately 10 days whether possum is caught or not. Time period is flexible and at the discretion of Sydney Pest Crew pending behaviour and any observations from camera. It is not in Sydney Pest Crew’s control or capture guaranteed if a possum has exited a roof and not returned within this time period. Costs will still stand as they are based on the above requirements to carry out the service. Thank you.

Please note that photos may be taken during your service for reporting and feedback purposes. If you have any concerns about this, you must inform us before the service begins. However, declining photo documentation where we deem it necessary may limit the quality of feedback we can provide. Without these photos, we may not be able to fully assist with any questions or issues raised after the service.

Preparing your home for a rodent installation

Please inform prior to service if any pets are present in the home as they will need to be placed inside while the rodent stations are installed externally.
